Fox Hunting Attire

A proper turned-out field honors the landowners and displays the tradition and spirit as they watch us ride by.  The preservation of the centuries of foxhunting spirit depends on the continued observance of the rules of etiquette that distinguish this activity from simply riding casually around through the countryside. 

Formal Season

Ladies & Gentleman without colors:
Black hunt coat, white stock tie, canary vest, buff or rust breeches, black dress boots, and black or navy helmet.

Ladies and Gentleman With Color:
Hunter Green coat with beige collar and RHF buttons, white stock tie, canary vest, buff breeches or rust breeches, black boots, and black or navy helmet.

Hunt Staff:
Scarlett Coat with beige collar and RHF buttons, white stock tie, canary vest, buff breeches (during the week) and white breeches (weekend, joint meets and holiday), black boots, and black or navy helmet. 

Cubbing & Juniors

Cubbing:
Tweed coat (brown, herringbone, beige, green), button down blue and white pin stripe shirt or show shirt, tie or choker, canary vest, rust breeches, black boots, and navy or black helmet.  ( Please note if you are wearing a show shirt and choker and jacket must be accompanied.)

Juniors:
A junior is defined by anyone under the age of 18.  Junior wear tweed jackets, paddock or tall boots, beige or rust breeches for cubbing and formal season.  For those aged 18 and above, the adult rules of proper turnout apply.
